The Ottawa Catholic School Board’s Continuing and Community Education Department made 2024–2025 a year to remember through a series of Summer, March Break, and Christmas Camps that inspired curiosity, confidence, and connection among learners of all ages.
Summer Adventures
OCSB schools across Ottawa were filled with energy as thousands of campers joined summer programs that blended fun with learning. From sports, robotics, and cooking to art, dance, and mindfulness, students explored their interests in safe, supportive environments led by experienced educators.
Indoor and outdoor programs gave students opportunities to stay active and creative. Campers participated in activities such as Game On Sports Camp, Luv2Groove Dance Camp, Fit 4 Life, Junglesport, Busy Minds Education, West End Players, Rautins-House Basketball, and Canada Topflight Academy Basketball. Each program encouraged movement, creativity, and teamwork while nurturing new friendships and self-confidence.
March Break Memories
During March Break 2025, 319 students discovered new talents and made lasting friendships through programs such as the West End Players Musical Theatre Workshop, Busy Minds Education Mindfulness Camp, Game On Sports Camp, and the Canada Topflight Academy Basketball Skills Camp. Each camp balanced fun and focus, offering opportunities for students to learn, move, and grow together.
Holiday Joy
The Christmas Break One-Day Camps kept the joy of learning alive for 273 campers through creative and athletic activities. Programs such as Busy Minds Education Winter Camp and Game On Sports Camp provided students from all school boards with opportunities to stay active, build friendships, and begin the new year with energy and positivity.
Learning Beyond the Classroom
Throughout every season, OCSB camps reflected the Board’s commitment to lifelong learning, inclusion, and community connection. Whether students were trying something new, developing skills, or simply having fun, each camper left with new friendships, greater confidence, and memories that would last a lifetime.
