Co-op Carousel: Showcasing Student Achievements
St. Matthew High School hosted its annual Co-op Carousel, a celebration of the hard work and accomplishments of students enrolled in the Co-op program. For the past two years, this event gave students a platform to showcase their work placements and share experiences with peers interested in joining the program.
Students presented their learning in creative ways, using displays, pamphlets, and interactive demonstrations that reflected their individual placements. The event encouraged conversation and curiosity, giving attendees the chance to ask questions and learn what Co-op was really like.
To add to the excitement, one lucky participant won a gift card to a local business. Organizers planned to expand the event in the future by inviting workplace supervisors to share their insights, further strengthening the connection between education and industry.
